An Algorithm for Improved Canny Adaptive Edge Detection in Image Processing

An edge is one of the most important and basic features in an image. Edge detection is one of the most important research fields in computer vision and is a hot topic in image measurement technology. In this paper, based on the research and analysis of existing edge detection techniques, a new Canny adaptive edge detection method is proposed. This method has the adaptive ability, which can realize edge extraction of the image effectively, and provide accurate information for the following image measurement.
